The present implementation of Pixie Scheme will set no records for high performance and will overwhelm no one with exotic features, but a reasonable, inexpensive Scheme implementation, on a computer as widely used and as easy to use as the Macintosh, is likely to be interesting to computer hobbyists and enthusiasts, and perhaps even useful for students and educators.
